Shameful, But I’m Going to Work On It 👗

When I was in my twenties I could easily stitch a ripped dress or sweater back together; however, a few months ago, I confidently attempted to stitch my husband’s sweater back together and it was shameful! What happened???

After such a failed attempt, I immediately put “learn to stitch clothing” and “learn to sew” on my To Do list.

About 3 weeks ago, my daughter put on her favorite dress and she could not wear it because…

Yes. It had a gaping hole in it 😕.

Today I was doing laundry and I came across the dress so I hung it up in my closet. Since it is an item that doesn’t belong in my closet, I will be reminded to stitch her dress for her. My goal is to work on it tomorrow.

I share this post to give two pieces of advice. Getting to a better place in life will allow you time to work on the small things in life that bring you joy. Read my post “10 Secrets To Happiness!” as a starter

Of course, my strategy will not work for you if your home is in disarray. If it is, put “get organized” and “declutter” on your To Do list!

The second piece of advice is to use my strategy of putting things in the wrong place on purpose so you are reminded to take action on the item. I place items that I don’t want to forget near the front door or near my purse because I never forget my purse and I have to use the front door to leave out of my home.

Until next time ladies…
