Looking amazing gives you confidence. Bottom line. Looking good does take some time when you are not used to investing time in your looks. However, after doing it for some time it will become second nature to you. You will become an expert at taking a pile of hopeless-looking clothes and putting together a red-carpet worthy outfit. Ladies, moms, take some time out for you. To begin, work on skin care. Go to the local pharmacy (Walgreens, CVS) and read skin care product labels and find a couple of skin care products suitable for your face and also a good body lotion. Next, start wearing basic makeup—eye pencil, mascara and lip gloss. Starting off slow will allow you to build up to adding more beauty routines to your everyday look. Next, start looking at YouTube video tutorials to show you how to apply a full face of makeup (foundation, eyeshadow…). Of course, you want to wear only what is comfortable for you.
What you will find is that you will begin to desire incorporating even more accentuating beauty routines into your life. You will progress from skin and makeup care to improving your wardrobe. I recommend buying only a few pieces at a time rather than charging up a lot of clothes on a credit card. Buy nice items that are on sale. Catch items on clearance. Buy second hand items.
Lastly, don’t forget to improve your underwear and bra game! You have to look cute even in areas that are typically seen by only you. Remember, improving your appearance is about you! With Love, A Frantic Mom
